Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Coral Springs bank this afternoon and believe he may be the same person who robbed a bank in Margate last week.
The robber entered the Chase Bank branch located at 8975 W. Atlantic Blvd around 4:07 p.m. and demanded money from a bank employee. Customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery, however, there were no injuries and the amount of money taken will not be released at this time.
The bank robber is wearing a blue button down shirt with his sleeves rolled up and a blue baseball hat. Investigators believe this same person was involved in the robbery of a Space Coast Credit Union branch at 7290 West Atlantic Blvd, Margate, FL, on Friday, October 13.
If anyone has information as to the identity of this bank robber, they are urged to call the FBI at (754) 703-2000 or go to Crimestoppers.
