A campaign kickoff and fundraiser for Commissioner Dan Daley was held last Thursday at a local Coral Springs restaurant.
The setting was Tavolino Della Nonna on Sample Road, which was packed with over 130 supporters inside and outside of the Italian eatery.
The car show and family fun day held alongside of the new Green Market turned out to be a winning combination at a new venue this year.
Formerly held at the Sportsplex, this year they moved the show to the downtown area which brought many more families out to enjoy the fun.
Last week, candidate Howard Melamed who is running for seat four held his kickoff and fundraising party at the Smart Publishing Art Gallery. City Commissioner Claudette Bruck who currently holds the seat will be unable to run again due to term limits.
Commissioner Tom Powers held his mayoral kickoff party at Blue Moon Fish Company Monday night where almost every Coral Springs city commissioner could be found, including the current mayor.
