On Wednesday night, parents had the chance to ask their school board members questions in their “Conversation with the District” event at Coral Springs High School. On many parent’s minds were the recent proposals involving boundary changes affecting Parkland schools and several parents were vocal against any changes that would divide their community.

Riverside Elementary in Coral Springs Celebrates Freedom Week

The students of Riverside Elementary’s Multiage K/1 class in Coral Springs celebrated Freedom Week in quite an artistic way. Freedom Week is part of our Common Core Curriculum which is the last full week in September. The 40 students, ages 5 & 6, created a beautiful American flag by using their little hands and feet all while learning about our flag.

Broward County Schools Gets an “F” for Fake Photos in New Website

Broward County Public Schools has just launched their new website, and while I never thought anything was wrong with their old website, the new website is a worthy effort and seems easy enough to navigate through. One problem they really need to change is getting rid of the stock photos filled with children that don’t even go to Broward Schools, much less live in Florida.
