The City of Coral Springs will be celebrating peace and understanding at The International Day of Peace celebration at the International Peace Garden, along with a light breakfast to follow.

Held on on Friday, September 19 at 7:45 a.m., at 2855 Coral Springs Drive, adjacent to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, the community is invited as City officials, students and local talent celebrate with music and art.

This year, participate in our Imagine Peace Wish Tree Project. Write down your peace wish on a tag and add it to our tree during the event or display your own Peace Tree, at your school, house of worship or workplace starting September 15.

On Sunday, September 21 at 8 a.m., there will be a Silent Peace Walk at the International Peace Garden.

These events are free for everyone. For more information, call 954-344-1063.
