What if you had to live off of nothing but products that were made in the USA?
Josh Miller is documenting his journey across the US doing just that. He will be interviewing Coral Springs business owner Isabelle Benoit, of Bullet Blues Custom Apparel, LLC on May 20th.
Bullet Blues Custom Apparel is a local company that makes men’s and women’s jeans in the USA, using only American-made materials.
Miller has committed to living for one month using nothing but American made products. That is proving to be quite a challenge. At the same time, he’s travelling throughout the US, talking to businesspeople that pride themselves on making products here in the United States. Not only will the film show what Miller goes through, it will highlight the challenges that businesses like Bullet Blues Custom Apparel, LLC face.
There is a growing movement in this country to “Buy American” and Miller’s documentary will showcase that it’s easier said than done. He’ll also be getting Isabelle Benoit’s point of view—it’s not easy to “Produce American” either. The interview will take place at The Blue Moon Fish Co. in Coral Springs on Sunday, May 20th. Miller will also be stopping at local attractions near Coral Springs to enjoy the sights and talk to people about the “Made in the USA” movement.
Bullet Blues Custom Apparel, LLC is a growing company that makes high-quality jeans for men and women, with custom apparel coming soon. It has been headquartered in Coral Springs since 2011. Bullet Blues jeans are high-end jeans that fill a niche—American-made jeans that are comfortable and flattering. The components that go into making their products are also all made in the US.
“Made in the USA: The 30-Day Journey” is a full-length documentary that explores the rise and fall of USA-made products. During the filming, Josh Miller is talking with locals and experts to find out if “Made in the USA” really means anything anymore. If not, what does that mean for the future of our country? See more at www.usa30days.com.
Blue Moon Fish Co. is located at 10317 Royal Palm Blvd, in Coral Springs. Owner Daniel Cournover and his wife Mariella will be preparing special dishes using only local and USA-produced ingredients. In keeping with Josh Miller’s self-imposed limitations, no imported products means no imported food.
