Tickets on Sale for ‘Rage in a Cage’ Live Wrestling Event December 9

By: Chris Brunner

It’s the season for wrestling in Coral Springs, and that can only mean one thing: Coastal Championship Wrestling. On Saturday, December 9th, CCW returns to Coral Springs Charter School in their most intense event yet, and it’s Rage in a Cage.

The event will feature a milestone in South Florida wrestling history. For the first time, fans will experience a steel cage match. The several tons of cold, unforgiving metal will see the latest chapter in the saga of heavyweight champion The G.O.A.T. and the challenger, Santos. After their last match, which left two referees on the ground and several more refusing to even enter the ring, a cage is the only thing that could contain the fury of these two fierce competitors. Only one man will emerge from the twisted steel as CCW Heavyweight Champion, and neither will leave unscathed.

Fans are in for a treat as the prodigal son of south Florida himself, MVP, returns home. Watch as he recounts a long ago blood feud with an old enemy, Kahagas, to be reignited when they meet in the ring once more.

The night will also see the CCW debut of the real-life superhero, Hurricane Helms. The cape-clad former WWE superstar will be in tag-team action with a superhero in training partner against resident CCW Tag Team Champions, Johnny Walker and Stryker Ramirez. The bickering team may think they’re cunning, but they’ve never faced off against a category five.

The CCW women’s division will be heating up night, as well. World-traveled star of the independents and recent NXT Mae Young Classic competitor Santana Garrett will be facing off against CCW Women’s Champion Chelsea Durden.

Don’t miss the 20 man “Colossal Tussle” battle royal. The competitors will battle to be the last man standing to claim the coveted prize of a title shot of their choosing. Included will be CCW Southeastern Champion Cha Cha Charlie, and all of your favorite CCW mainstays. The show will be held in honor of the late Dave Johnson, a.k.a. The Blackhart.

It’s all happening on Saturday, December 9th at Coral Springs Charter School. Tickets start at just $10 and are on sale now at ccwevents.com/tickets, so act now to guarantee your spot at ringside. The first bell rings at 8 p.m., so don’t miss the history-making Rage in a Cage.
