The City of Coral Springs will be honoring peace and understanding at the new MLK Monument site in front of the Northwest Regional Library where residents, students and City Officials will be celebrating with music and art.
The event takes place on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:45 a.m. where once again this year, the community is invited to participate in their Imagine Peace Wish Tree Project. Just write down your peace wish on a tag and add it to our tree during the event or display your own Peace Tree (indoor or outdoor) at your home, school, house of worship or workplace starting September 15. Share and send in your photo of your tree full of wishes to lcutz@coralsprings.org, confirming your commitment to peace in our community.
This event is free and families are encouraged to attend. A light breakfast follows the ceremony. For more information, call 954-344-1063.
Northwest Regional Library is located at 3151 N. University Drive.
