Food will be available to feed up to 2,000 people at a food distribution at Living Word Christian Center. On Saturday, March 13, in partnership with Farm Share, Coral Springs Commissioner Nancy Metayer joins them in at the drive-thru food distribution.
The event, held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. is in the church’s parking lot at 3301 Riverside Drive.
First Church Coral Springs
In partnership with Feeding South Florida, First Church Coral Springs continues their contactless food drive on March 13. The food will vary weekly; recipients can expect fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, dairy products, and some canned items.
All donated food will be placed directly into the vehicles’ open trunks by volunteers following CDC guidelines on a first-come, first-served basis. The drive-thru event is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at 8650 W. Sample Rd.
