Garbage and Recycling Schedule

Coral Springs Bulk Trash Collection
- Bulk should not exceed six cubic yards, which is approximately equivalent to the size of 6 kitchen stoves or 3 refrigerators.
- If residents exceed six cubic yards, the pile will not be hauled away, and Coastal will notify the resident by tagging the pile of debris with haul-away instructions.
- Any one-yard waste item cannot exceed 50 lbs.
- Do not place bulk under trees or power lines where mechanical truck removal would be restricted.
- Materials must be generated by the resident at the residential unit where the bulk is collected.
- Only two cubic yards of the six may be construction debris.
- It is important to notify landscapers, tree trimmers, contractors, etc., that they need to haul away their own debris following a job completed at your home if it exceeds the size limits.
- Do not place extra garbage bags in bulk; they will not be picked up.
- Small lawn clipping must be bagged in a clear bag.
What is Accepted for Bulk
- Household goods such as couches, chairs, mattresses, tables, appliances (white goods), carpet and padding, etc.
- For safety reasons, residents are required to box with tape or wrap with old blankets, any mirrors, glass panels or windowpanes before
disposing of them curbside. - Doors and Freon must be removed from refrigerators and freezers, and notice of removal of the Freon must be visible.
- Yard waste includes unbundled tree trimmings, palm fronds, tree branches and brush. Tree trimmings should not exceed 5 feet or 50 lbs.
- Hazardous waste will not be accepted. Please dispose of hazardous material at the Waste Transfer Station.
