The newly remodeled Walmart Neighborhood Market in Coral Springs will host a grand reopening celebration starting on Friday and lasting throughout the weekend.
The store located at 4650 N. University Drive represents Walmart’s reinvestment in the store, its customers, and the community. The remodel provides a new fresh produce experience and expanded deli. Part of the new deli will feature smoked meats, hot meals and catering menus. Fresh donuts and bread will be additions to Walmart’s bakery options.
The store includes a remodeled pharmacy with a full range of products, immunizations, and services. Walmart pharmacists are ready to assist customers with product and prescription questions. Coral Springs residents can easily transfer prescriptions and order refills on the go with the Walmart mobile app. Also, customers can now expect a new and improved customer service center with Money Services and Walmart Pickup.
“We are looking forward to re-introducing our store to the community with expanded offerings and a fresh look. Our everyday low prices will remain the same, but we’re adding greater convenience and a new and improved local grocery shopping experience,” said store manager Tony DeDominico.
Join the Grand Opening Celebration
Associates will provide a special welcome to members of the Coral Springs community with a grand reopening celebration. A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Nov. 11 at 7:30 a.m., followed by family activities and free food samples while supplies last.
On Saturday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 13 from noon to 5 p.m., customers can enjoy a grand reopening event with sampling and family friendly activities.

Have they solved the getting out of the store problem ? I used to go there but stopped because they would routinely have only ONE CASHIER open and a huge line with closed self checkout… I couldnt stand it anymore and just went back to using over priced Publix…
It’s almost like you pay a little more and get a little better service and convenience or, alternatively, pay a little less and get a little poorer service and convenience. It’s almost like service and convenience are not free.
could also be a sign of mis management or sheer stupidity or greed…. The whole point of the store is to collect money and thats where they decide to go cheap…. dumb… Publix while better is not immune to this either…. if they dont want to have paid cashiers then have more self checkout and offer a discount for the labor I provided at self checkout … Even Home Depot is on board with self checkout but no one gives you a discount which is a sham since they save on payroll… and these stores wonder why Amazon is so dang popular..
