Dice and Sebastian at Broward County Animal Care.
Two affectionate dogs at Broward County Animal Care are looking for loving families to call their own.
Dice, a 1-year-old neutered American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 53 pounds, is described by shelter staff as charming, playful and full of personality. He enjoys playing fetch, carrying toys wherever he goes and soaking up attention from anyone willing to give it. Dice arrived at the shelter in mid-March after being abandoned in the lobby of a local animal hospital weeks earlier. Despite his rough start, he has remained friendly and affectionate and is ready to find a permanent home.
Sebastian, a 5-year-old neutered American Bulldog mix weighing 55 pounds, offers a calmer but equally loving companionship. Found as a stray in Pembroke Pines in early March, Sebastian was initially timid but has since warmed up to staff and visitors. Known for his gentle demeanor, he enjoys leaning in for pets and spending quiet moments cuddling. His soft coat and relaxed personality make him a favorite among those who meet him.
Both dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go home the same day they are adopted.
Broward County Animal Care, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort Lauderdale, is open daily for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adoption fees include spay or neuter services, vaccinations and a microchip, with adopters only responsible for a $25 Broward County registration tag.
