Get ready to unleash the fun at Quiet Waters Park’s tail-wagging event of the season – BarktoberFest!
On October 5 and 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., it’s time for all paws on deck for a fur-tastic day packed with dog-friendly activities that are sure to make your pup’s tail wag.
The dog day begins K9 Splash Adventure from 9:00 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. with 50-minute splash sessions for just $6 per dog (or $5 for dog park pass holders).
Got a pint-sized pooch? There’s a special small-dog session from 8:00 to 8:50 a.m. for pups under 35 pounds. Lifeguards will be on “paw-trol” to ensure safe water play.
BarktoberFest activities include pet safety tips, adoption opportunities, and even a Doggie Market Place where you can shop until your pup drops.
Local rescue and nonprofit groups will be on-site to positively impact animals’ lives in many ways, including health awareness and tips for each dog’s owner to remember.
All breeds and ages are welcome. Dogs must be well-behaved, current on vaccinations, and off-leash in the playground area.
Quiet Waters Park is at 401 S Powerline Rd in Deerfield Beach.
