Maple is a bit of a local celebrity because she has been at the shelter for over a year.
Initially adopted by a family she liked very much, Maple was returned when the existing dog in the home was none to keen on sharing his parents with her.
Despite being overlooked for such a long time, Maple has the sweetest personality and strives to remain upbeat and positive. She loves to ride in the car and enjoys excursions to local eateries and has recently started participating in the Lunch Buddies program and has been a perfect ambassador for adoptable dogs.
She is very affectionate and wants desperately to find a loving home of her very own.
Maple says to Coral Springs residents: “I’ve waited so long for you! Please take me home!
Maple’s ID# is A1996883, and she is currently at the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption, 2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale. Open Tuesday – Sunday 11:00 am – 6:00 pm.
