Residents have an opportunity to meet with the mayor and city commissioners at City Hall to discuss any concerns or questions during August.
Vice Mayor Joshua Simmons holds office hours Monday, Aug. 16, from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Call 954-344-5911 to schedule.
Mayor Scott Brook is available on Friday, Aug. 20, from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., and again on Aug. 27 at the same time. Call 954-344-5911 to schedule.
In addition to office hours, Mayor Brook will host the Mayor’s Budget Roundtable on Aug. 26 from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. to answer resident questions about the city’s budget. To attend, residents must register here.Â
On Aug. 25, he hosts Coffee with the Mayor and a Veteran from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Toojay’s Deli.
Commissioners Joy Carter is available from Aug. 23 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Nancy Metayer holds hers Aug. 25 from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Shawn Cerra has no posted hours; however, residents may schedule a meeting by calling 954-344-5911.Â
Residents also have the opportunity to attend or stream the commission’s upcoming meeting on Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m.
