Get ready to slap on some sunscreen and channel your inner treasure hunter as Coral Springs rolls out the welcome mat for its first-ever Sunny Seekers Scavenger Hunt.
Running from Friday, September 20, to Saturday, September 28, this outdoor adventure promises to turn the city into one giant, sun-soaked playground.
As part of the Neighborhoods with Integrity initiative, a program that aims to bring neighbors together and foster community spirit, the Sunny Seekers Scavenger Hunt will have Coral Springs residents team up to take on 12 challenges at various landmarks throughout the city. Think of it as a bonding experience—minus the trust falls and awkward small talk.
For those brave enough to answer the call of adventure, here’s how it works: Gather your crew—four to eight fearless friends, family, or neighbors—and appoint a captain to lead the charge.
Your team will race across the city, completing quirky challenges and unlocking clues. And there’s more than just bragging rights on the line; the neighborhood with the most teams will walk away champions, basking in the glory of a well-earned pizza party.
Vice Mayor Shawn Cerra offered words of encouragement: “Since its inception, the Neighborhoods with Integrity program was designed to bring the community together in fun, creative ways, and the scavenger hunt offers that opportunity,”
