Talkin’ Tacos opening soon in Coral Springs.

Fast-casual sensation Talkin’ Tacos, offering customers innovative and Instagram-worthy Mexican dishes, is opening its fourth location in Coral Springs.
Starting as a food truck in 2020, Talkin’ Tacos quickly gained popularity and now has three brick-and-mortar locations in Brickell, Miramar, and Wynwood. The new 1,750 sq. foot restaurant will provide authentic halal Mexican cuisine and feature indoor and outdoor seating for 70.
Located in the space once occupied by The Taco Project at The Walk at 2866 N. University Drive. The Taco Project shared the news of their departure on social media, stating the decision was difficult but necessary to focus on their Stamford, Connecticut location.
Mohammad Farraj, the co-founder of Talkin’ Tacos, expressed his excitement about expanding the brand in South Florida. “There’s nothing like us in the area, and we’re ready and excited to offer our innovative twists on Mexican food to existing and new fans. We’ll be a unique experience and great addition to this growing city,” he said.
To celebrate the restaurant’s opening, Talkin’ Tacos is hosting a grand opening party on Friday, March 24, from 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a free order of the restaurant’s signature Birria Tacos.
Diners can enjoy the chef-driven menu, which features an array of guest favorites such as Birria Tacos, Birria Ramen, Southwest Chicken Tacos, Birria Pizza, and Street Corn in a Cup. The beef birria, a hallmark of the menu, is braised each day for 12 hours before completing the cooking process. The Talkin’ Tacos meal is capped off with desserts like Cookies and Cream and Dulce de Leche Churros, Tajin & Chamoy gummies, and homemade specialty beverages, including lemonades, horchatas, and mangonadas.
Talkin’ Tacos in Coral Springs will be open Monday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. For convenience, the restaurant features self-serve kiosks where guests can place their orders efficiently, eliminating the cashier position and allowing a faster speed of service. Additionally, delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of the restaurant.
Gillian Johnson, Representative for The Walk, welcomed the restaurant to the area, saying, “We are excited to welcome Talkin’ Tacos as the newest restaurant coming to The Walk. With three other South Florida locations, Talkin’ Tacos knows the market and will be a great addition to Coral Springs and our community.”
The rapidly expanding brand also offers national franchise opportunities, with locations opening in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and New York. The brand will also open two additional South Florida corporate locations in 2023.
