After losing eight straight games to Marjory Stoneman Douglas, the Coral Glades girls basketball team finally defeated them on Dec. 12.
The Jaguars pulled out a tight 41-36 win to improve their record to 4-3 through their first seven games of the year.
“Our defensive energy was what drove us tonight”, said Head Coach Donnell Carr. “We didn’t shoot the ball particularly well, but we really got after it defensively.”
Next, the Jaguars will face Charles W. Flanagan High School on Thursday, December 16. They are currently 10-0 this year and rank among the best teams in Broward County.
