Both Coral Glades girls and boys varsity basketball teams kicked off their seasons with wins over Piper High School in their season-opener.
The girls played in the first game Monday night and won 52-26 to begin their season 1-0 for the first time since 2008.
After coming off a strong season where the Jaguars finished with 12 victories, the boys followed and pulled off a close win as they defeated the Bengals 59-57.Â
Both teams had their season delayed due to COVID:19 but will have a hectic month with multiple games a week in January.
