Coral Glades lacrosse player Allura Buelvas officially announced her commitment to play at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
“Committing to Kennesaw State has been the best feeling in the world,” Buelvas said. ” I am so excited to play at the next level in college. I committed to Kennesaw because I love the location, the amazing culture the team has shown me and the coaching staff.”
Buelvas, a junior at Coral Galdes, began playing lacrosse in seventh grade and has played on two different club teams. She is currently on FL Prime, where she has continued to grow her game and gain confidence. Buelvas will be playing her third year on varsity this season and recorded 39 goals in eight games last year.
With two years left before college, Buelvas hopes to improve in every aspect of the game but especially to become faster and more consistent. Kennesaw State is coming off a season in which it went 5-11 with wins over Reinhardt, Presbyterian, Gardner-Webb, Longwood, and Rider University.
