Coral Springs Charter swim team had only one more competition this year, and it came in the State Championships.
The Panthers, who have had a phenomenal season, had four swimmers compete. Riley McCormick placed 14th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.58. Amber Candido also swam in an individual race and came in 17th in the 100-yard backstroke.
Lastly, the 400-yard relay team of Candido, McCormick, Briana Dattile, and Hailey Wells finished 15th at 3:53.10.
“I am so proud to be a part of the swim team,” said Head Coach Sherri Wells-Smith. “It’s taught me so much as a coach and as a person. I am going to miss the seniors next year, but I know they were going to do amazing things.”
While CSC will have several seniors graduate, they will still return many sensational swimmers who hope to send the Panthers back to States.
