From the Coral Springs City Commission:
As a new school year approaches, we want to reaffirm our commitment to Coral Springs students, teachers, and school staff. Coral Springs is home to some of the top-rated public, charter, and private schools, and we remain proud of the many accomplishments of the students and professionals who attend and work at our schools. We wish everyone a wonderful school year ahead!
Swing into special events this month! Residents can join Commissioner Joy Carter for a game of Pickleball on Thursday, August 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Riverside Park (205 Coral Ridge Drive) as part of the Move with the Mayor series.
Tickets are still available for the International Dinner Dance, which will take place on Saturday, August 24, at 7 p.m. at the Marriott Heron Bay (11775 Heron Bay Blvd.). Hosted annually by the Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee, the 2024 event will feature the sights, sounds, and flavors of Spanish culture.

To participate, residents can form teams to complete up to 12 challenges. The neighborhood with the largest participation will receive a pizza party. The Sunny Seekers Scavenger Hunt is part of the Neighborhoods with Integrity program. Those interested can learn more at CoralSprings.gov/SunnySeekers.
Residents: sip, savor, and save the date – our Budget & Brews education series will take place at coffee shops and eateries across the city during the last week of August. Residents are invited to join experts from our Budget & Sustainability Department to ask questions and learn more about our city’s budget process. These informative sessions are free, but the cost of food and drinks is additional. A full list of dates, times, and locations can be found at CoralSprings.gov/Brews.
