Coral Springs Crime Blotter: Kidnapping, Grand Thefts, and Drug Arrests Mark Busy Week

The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crime incidents across the city between February 12 - February 18, including arrests and various charges.
Thefts & Fraud
Macy’s Men – Shoplifting at 9263 W Atlantic Blvd on Feb. 12. Estimated loss: $367.
Target – Shoplifting at 4400 N State Road 7 between Feb. 4–12. Estimated loss: $399.
Walmart – Grand theft at 6001 Coral Ridge Dr on Feb. 12. Estimated loss: $1,121.
Dick’s Sporting Goods – Shoplifting at 8921 W Atlantic Blvd on Feb. 12. Estimated loss: $510.
Retail Theft – Felony theft at 89 W Atlantic Blvd on Feb. 14. Estimated loss: $2,449.
Multiple Auto Parts Thefts – Incidents reported across the city, with estimated losses ranging from $1 to $2.
Fraud Incidents – Reported across multiple locations, with losses ranging from $1,951 to $183,000.
Identity Theft – Several cases were reported, including one with an estimated loss of $80,000.
Assaults & Domestic Incidents
Battery on Elderly Person (65+) – Reported in Coral Springs on Feb. 13.
Domestic Battery – Several incidents were reported throughout the week.
Aggravated Battery on Pregnant Victim – Reported on Feb. 18.
Drugs & Weapons Offenses
Narcotics Possession & Sales – Incidents reported across the city, including one case near a school.
Concealed Weapon Violation – Reported on Feb. 14 at 3200 Coral Springs Dr.
Other Notable Incidents
Kidnapping – Reported in Coral Springs on Feb. 16.
Unattended Death – Reported at Harbor Inn Pl on Feb. 13.
Criminal Mischief – Several incidents, including damage to vehicles and residences.

Jayann Wynter (32) – Shoplifting at Macy’s on Feb. 12.
Adonis Perez Gutierrez (48) – Retail theft over $750 at 750 N University Dr on Feb. 12.
Isaiah Johnson (19) – Cannabis sale near a school at 10600 Riverside Dr on Feb. 12.
Luis Axel Gonzalez Olivo (43) – Grand theft at Walmart on Feb. 12.
Anthony Torres (44) – Retail theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Feb. 12.
Daniel Schulte (42) – Possession of Xanax at 9000 W Sample Rd on Feb. 12.
Devontae Omar Eason (18) – Carrying a concealed firearm under 21 at 3200 Coral Springs Dr on Feb. 15.
Edward Yueh-ho Kwok (43) – Domestic battery in Coral Springs on Feb. 18.
Lem Anthony McKinney (40) – Authority figure solicitation of a student in Coral Springs on Feb. 18.
Ulrick Brooks (29) & Jordan Ivan Pierre (28) – Burglary at 3869 NW 124th Ave on Feb. 18.
Gary Allen Wasserman (56) – Aggravated battery on a pregnant victim in Coral Springs on Feb. 18.
