The Coral Springs High School baseball team gave back to the community by working with young players from CSA Little League.
Head Coach Joe Franco has emphasized the importance of his players making an impact beyond baseball and representing their school positively.
“Being a high school student-athlete isn’t just about wins and losses,” Franco said. “It’s about the memories you make, the moments you can have an impact on someone else, and by representing your high school with integrity and at a high level in the classroom, on the ball field and out in the community.”
Franco, a 2002 Coral Springs High School graduate, believes community outreach can help his players grow while giving back. As he works to rebuild the program, he sees community involvement as an important first step and hopes to follow the example set by Principal Dwayne Dixon in improving the school.
