The city of Coral Springs, in partnership with the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs, is hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 29, 2023, at Veterans Park.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and aims to honor the courageous men and women of the military who have sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The ceremony will feature a keynote speech from U.S. Army veteran Colonel Jay Siegel. Siegel is a 30-year resident of Coral Springs who joined the U.S. Army after completing his ROTC commitment and graduating as a Cadet Major.

Before retiring, he served as the Army Liaison to FEMA Region II, Military Emergency Coordinator.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place at the Coral Springs Gymnasium located at 2501 Coral Springs Drive. All are invited to attend and honor the brave individuals who gave their lives to protect the nation’s freedom.
The Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at Veterans Park, 8601 Royal Palm Blvd, Coral Springs, FL 33065. The park offers ample parking space, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
