Through our joint effort with the Coral Springs Police Department to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Coral Springs from April 28 through May 4.

According to CSPD policy, they will not release information on open/active crimes. So if a crime isn’t reflected in this report, it was not released to the media.

Property Damage
A male, 31, was the victim of property damage in the Villas of Riverside apartments at the 2600 block of Riverside Drive on April 29.

Grand Theft Automobile
A male, 27, was the victim of grand theft automobile at the 8900 block of NW 38th Drive in Village Green on April 28.

A female, 35, was the victim of grand theft automobile at the 5600 block of Riverside Drive in Pine Ridge on April 30.

Battery
A juvenile, 14, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will at Turtle Run Park at 6400 Wiles Road on April 29.

A female, 26, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will at the 12100 block of NW 29th Street in Westchester on May 1.

A female, 26, was the victim of domestic battery/touching another person against will at the 4000 block of NW 61st Terrace in Turtle Run on May 2.

A male, 21, was the victim of domestic battery/touching another person against will at the 2900 block of NW 95th Ave on May 2.

A female, 37, was the victim of domestic battery/touching another person against will at the 4900 block of NW 119th Terrace in Grand Isle on May 2.

Burglary
A male, 37, was the victim of a burglary conveyance/theft from auto at Sherwood on the Park apartment homes at the 1500 block of NW 91st Ave between April 29 and April 30.

Domestic Disturbance
A female, 23, was the victim of a domestic disturbance in Grenadier Estates at the 12300 block of NW 26th Court on April 29.

Simple Assault
A female, 28, was the victim of simple assault at European Wax Center at 2910 North University Drive on May 2.

Arrests
Booie B. Trench, 19, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Kohl’s at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd on April 28.

Deante Ovian Whiters-Johnson, 18, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Kohl’s at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd on April 28.

Cynthia E. Knapp, 52, and Lawrence William Knapp, 59, were arrested on charges of petit theft at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on April 28.

Cadet Joseph, 28, was arrested on charges of fleeing a police officer with lights and siren at 9901 West Sample Road on April 28.

Jessica Robin Stuckey, 52, was arrested on charges of DUI-failed to submit to breath/blood/urine at Children’s Medical Association at 5697 Coral Ridge Drive on April 28.

Gano Bernard Hicks, 61, was arrested on charges of battery intentionally causing bodily harm at St. Andrew Towers at 2700 NW 99th Ave on April 29.

Charles Davis, 40, was arrested on charges of DUI- Alcohol Or Drugs at the 2800 block of Coral Springs Drive on April 30.

Triston Zaire Lawrence, 19, was arrested on charges of robbery by sudden snatching without a firearm or weapon at Royal River apartments at 2901 Riverside Drive on April 30.

Alexander Stephen Martin, 19, was arrested on charges of burglary with assault/battery upon person at the 11600 block of NW 56th Drive on April 30.

Daniel Nick Schirripa, 39, was arrested on charges of cocaine: possession of cocaine at Turtle Run Park at 6400 Wiles Road on April 30.

Olivia Brooke Martin, 20, was arrested on charges of strong armed robbery at Wyndham West Villas at the 11500 block of NW 56th Drive on April 30.

Kim Anne Kaplan, 45, was arrested on charges of cocaine: possession of cocaine at the corner of 4599 Riverside Drive and Wiles Road on May 2.

Kiara Olivia Green, 18, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on May 2.

Chance Jaylon Davis, 18, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on May 2.

David Joseph Miller, 56, was arrested on charges of improper exhibition of a dangerous weapon/firearm at the corner of North University Drive and West Sample Road on May 2.

Meribeth Morales, 18, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at Ramblewood East Apartments at the 4100 block of NW 88th Ave on May 3.

Nicholas Allen Gory, 37, was arrested on charges of retail theft over $300 at Ulta at 4601 North University Drive on May 3.

Courtney Lee Taylor, 25, was arrested on charges of retail theft over $300 at Ulta at 4601 North University Drive on May 3.

Kevin Jean, 26, was arrested on charges of battery intentionally causing bodily harm at near Marquis Coral Springs at the 10800 block of West Sample Road on May 4.

Robenson Lazarre, 22, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Macy’s at 9263 West Atlantic Blvd on May 4.

Alexis Marie Alvarez, 21, was arrested on charges of obstructing an officer without violence at Chick-fil-A at 1341 North University Drive on May 4.

Yesenia Hernandez Rodriguez, 35, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on May 4.

Laetitia Johann Chapelet, 20, was arrested on charges of battery intentionally causing bodily harm at the Preserve at Coral Square at the 9100 block of Ramblewood Drive on May 4.
