Through our joint effort with the Coral Springs Police Department to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Coral Springs from March 23 through March 30.

According to CSPD policy, they will not release information on open/active crimes. So if a crime isn’t reflected in this report, it was not released to the media.

Grand Theft
Sunoco Gas Station at 7801 W Sample Rd where a 42-year-old male was a victim of grand theft on March 26.

Shoplifting/retail theft/felony retail theft/petit theft occurrences:
Target at 4400 North State Road 7 on March 24 at 3:15 p.m.

Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on March 26 between 11:54 a.m. and 12:58 p.m., and again at 5:27 p.m., and on March 28 at 5:40 p.m.

Hobby Lobby at 9150 Wiles Road on March 25 between 5:20 p.m. and 6:46 p.m.

Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive on March 26 between 5:27 p.m. and 7:56 p.m.

Sam’s Club at 950 North University Drive on March 27 at 2:50 p.m.

Target at 9600 Westview Drive between March 25 at 6:00 p.m. and March 28 at 3:31 p.m.

Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on March 28 at 7:32 p.m.

Pink at 9053 West Atlantic Blvd on March 28 between 3:00 p.m. and 5:18 p.m.

Kohl’s at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd on March 28 at 5:18 p.m.

Sunco Gas Station at 7801 West Sample Road on March 26 at 5:30 p.m.

8300 block of NW 24th Street on March 25 at 8:28 p.m.

10200 block of Harbor Inn Place on March 26 at 4:07 a.m.

8200 block of NW 24th Street on March 26 at 9:36 p.m.

8800 block of NW 38th Drive on March 26 at 11:58 p.m.

2100 block of NW 115th Lane on March 27 at 7:53 p.m.

8100 block of NW 27th Street on February 26 at 3:30 p.m. and reported on March 29.

4100 block of NW 78th Lane on March 29 at 10:50 p.m.

Aggravated Assault-Elderly

A 74-year-old man was a victim of Aggravated Assault-elderly at the 10900 block of NW 56th Ct, on March 26.

Aggravated Battery
950 Coral Ridge Drive on March 27 at 6:25 p.m.

Animal Bite
An animal bite was reported at a unit at 4133 Nw 88th Ave on March 27 at 3:52 p.m.

Criminal Mischief
Criminal Mischief to a business of $200 or more/under $1000 occurred at Lion’s Park 3505 Riverside Drive between March 25 at 1:30 p.m. and March 26 at 7:30 a.m.

Criminal Mischief to a business over $1000 occurred at 10301 Wiles Road between March 26 at 10:00 a.m. and March 27 at 10:40 a.m.

Criminal Mischief to a vehicle $200 or more/under $1000 occurred at 4350 NW 79th Terrace on March 27 between 5:00 a.m. and 4:36 p.m.

Arrests
Sergio Alejandro Oropesa-Gonzalez, 23 was arrested on charges of possession Of methamphetamine at 3700 N University Dr on March 26.

Angelina M. Danin, 31, was arrested on charges of heroin at 11885 Nw 2nd Ct on March 26.

Chance James Walls, 19, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/petit theft at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on March 24.

Tessa Marie Gress, 21, was arrested on charges of battery/intentional strike or touch to another person at the 10200 block of Harbor Inn Place on March 26.

Brittany Lashae Prince, 26, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on March 26.

Serenity Lar’jay Jones, 18, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on March 26.

Eric Jarson Jones, 46, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at the 8200 block of NW 24th Street on March 26.

Jasaiah Rashawn Hamilton, 18, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault on a person 65 years or older at the 10900 block of NW 56th Court on March 26.

Ricky Bernard Perry, 23, was arrested on charges of battery/touch or strike/battery/domestic violence at the 10700 block of Royal Palm Blvd on March 26.

London Samuel Jackson, 27, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery/offender knew or should have known the victim was pregnant/domestic violence at the 7500 block of Wiles Road on March 27.

Devone Lamar Collins, 24, was arrested on charges of battery (intentionally causing bodily harm)/dating at the 9900 block of Royal Palm Blvd on March 28.

Geminia Phyllis Aimable, 20, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Kohl’s at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd, and on charges of petit theft at Pink at 9053 West Atlantic Blvd on March 28.

Jared Forest Alexander, 40, was arrested on charges of grand theft over $300 but under $5,000 at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on March 28.

Elizabeth Rose Lieberman, 18, was arrested on charges of retail theft at Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on March 28.

Ernest Deandre Edmond, 24, was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer at the 9100 block of West Atlantic Blvd on March 28.

Armani Ian Jackson, 21, was arrested on charges of burglary with assault/battery upon a person at the 500 block of NW 118th Ave on March 30.
