Gary Rack aims to create a lively, welcoming dining experience at his new restaurant.
Gary Rack’s Farmhouse is set to open in early June at Modera, offering health-focused fare. Guests can choose from salads, nutty chicken, roasted salmon, BBQ short ribs, burgers, tacos, and street corn. The space will cover 3,600 square feet.
Rack saw Modera’s potential and chose it for his next restaurant. He expects residents to dine indoors or outdoors or get takeout. He also operates similar restaurants in Boca Raton and Delray Beach.
“We’ll offer Saturday and Sunday brunch with DJs and bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys. We’ll have daily happy hours, and people can walk in for a meal and a drink,” said Rack.
Rack considers himself more of a businessperson than a chef and sees Coral Springs as a market for a quality restaurant. He chose the location because of the city’s growth and appeal to long-term residents, families, and professionals, according to Rack.
The restaurant’s interior will feature murals by Miami street artist Ruben Ubiera. The murals depict natural scenes, creating a bold backdrop. The location has an urban feel with tile and wood-tone walls.
Rack is excited about the new location and believes it will soon become a popular place to come and eat, drink, and have some fun.
Gary Rack’s Farmhouse is located at 3314 N. University Drive.
