Viral sourdough pizza brand How Ya Dough’n is expanding into Broward County, with its first location set to open in Coral Springs in April, according to a company announcement.
Founded by husband-and-wife duo Garett and Gabby Goodman, the New York-style sourdough pizza concept began as backyard pizza drops during the 2020 lockdown in Boca Raton and has since grown into a multi-location brand with national recognition.
The Coral Springs restaurant will be located at the Modera Coral Springs development near City Hall on University Drive. The 1,400-square-foot space will offer indoor and outdoor seating, along with dine-in, takeout, delivery, and mobile catering options.
The brand is known for its long-fermented sourdough crust, which ferments for up to 12 days using high-protein organic flour free from preservatives and additives. The process is designed to enhance flavor and digestibility while creating a lighter, crisp texture.
Menu offerings include a mix of traditional and creative pies such as the Pistachio Pie, The Savage, Drunken Balls, and a classic New York-style option. Prices typically range from about $14 to $24, depending on size and toppings.
In addition to pizza, the restaurant will serve items such as sourdough “Dough Boys,” chicken wings, salads, and house-made sauces.
The expansion into Coral Springs comes as the company continues to grow across South Florida and beyond, with a third Boca Raton location already under construction and expected to open this summer.
Hiring for the Coral Springs location is currently underway. Grand opening details are expected to be announced soon.
