A Coral Springs clothing boutique is inviting the community to a shopping event with a portion of the proceeds set to be donated to cancer research.

The Jeaneration Shopping Event will take place on Wednesday, May 3 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jeaneration Boutique & Alterations store located at 4671 North University Drive.

Jeaneration Boutique is a locally-owned family clothing store that advertises unique styles for all ages, shapes, and sizes while also offering on-site alteration services to customers in need of a custom fit.

According to event organizers, the cancer research fundraiser shopping event has been organized to raise funds for cancer research, with 20 percent of the sale proceeds earmarked to be donated to the Greater Broward Chapter of Pap Corps, a non-profit cancer research project.

Attendees of the Jeaneration Shopping Event will also have an opportunity to participate in a raffle, with the winner receiving a $100 gift certificate prize.
