Eat Mor Chikin’, Have Less Beef: Woman Arrested for Pulling Gun at Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru

A woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after flashing a handgun at the driver of a vehicle in a Coral Springs drive-thru after believing she was cut in line.

On March 13, the Coral Springs Police Department received an emergency call claiming a woman, later identified as Jazmyne Symone Love, 25, of Miami Gardens, had allegedly pointed a firearm at a man in a drive-thru of the Chick-fil-A at 1341 North University Drive.

According to police reports, Love got into a road rage incident with the victim after believing he had cut her off in the drive-thru line.

The report says the victim told officers following a brief verbal argument, Love rolled down her window and brandished a black Glock 19 handgun she had retrieved from the glove compartment of her silver Nissan Versa and held it at the side of her face but did not point at him.

The victim told police he instantly left the line out of fear for his life and made the emergency call to the police.

Upon receiving the emergency call, an officer that was already parked inside the same parking lot where the incident occurred apprehended Love to get her side of what had transpired.

According to the report, Love admitted to officers that she had flashed the firearm at the victim but claimed that she only intended to scare him because she believed he was rude and disrespectful to her.

The victim positively identified Love while she remained in custody and told officers he wished to pursue criminal charges against her.

Love was transported to the Coral Springs Police Department, where she was read her Miranda rights before being further interviewed. During a taped interview, Love again admitted to brandishing the firearm and was transported to the Broward County Jail without incident.
