Long Island Bagel Cafe {David Volz}
Coral Springs residents looking for an authentic New York-style bagel experience now have a new place to enjoy breakfast or lunch.
Long Island Bagel Café recently opened near Heron Bay, offering freshly baked bagels, flavored cream cheese spreads, breakfast favorites and deli-style sandwiches.
The café features an extensive selection of bagels, including plain, everything, whole wheat and oat bran. Customers can pair their bagels with a variety of spreads, including vegetable, chocolate chip and apple walnut.
According to the menu, all bagels are rolled and baked fresh daily.
Designed to resemble a traditional New York bagel shop, the café features displays of freshly baked bagels and an assortment of spreads for customers to choose from.
Beyond bagels, the menu includes breakfast and lunch wraps, deli sandwiches, paninis and salads.
“Our bacon and egg items are very popular here,” said staff member John Pantusco.
Long Island Bagel Café is located at 6240 Coral Ridge Drive, Suite 116, near the Heron Bay community. The restaurant occupies the former Hurricane Grill & Wings location.

The café is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
