After an unidentified individual ran onto the campus, Marjory Stoneman Douglas went into a code red lockdown.
On Friday morning, Principal Michelle Kefford said that security and law enforcement took immediate action and quickly located and identified the individual as a student during the lockdown.
Actions will be taken in conjunction with law enforcement and the School Board’s discipline matrix, according to Kefford.
She stated, “We understand the concerns and emotions associated with a Code Red situation but want to assure you that safety will always be our primary concern.”
