An organization established by the Mayor of Coral Springs invites the community to come out for a night of laughs to support its mission to raise mental health awareness.
The Mental Wellness Networking Alliance (MWNA) is set to host the ‘Let’s Get Nuts’ Comedy Spectacular at the Boca Black Box Center located at 8221 Glades Road on Thursday evening, July 13, at 7:30 p.m.
The ‘Let’s Get Nuts’ event will feature a lineup of comedians, headlined by Rich Aronovitch, and is hosted by Jerry Callo Jr.
Rich Arnovitch is best known for appearing on various television shows, including NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and as a guest judge on the Food Network’s popular cooking show, Beat Bobby Flay.
MWNA and the Boca Black Box Center have partnered to offer an exclusive VIP Ticket for the special event that offers exclusive benefits, including reserved seating, an artist meet and greet at a private event featuring catered food, one free house drink ticket, and access to a cash bar.
Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook established the Mental Wellness Networking Alliance (MWNA) after two teenagers were lost to suicide at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
The organization aims to encourage open discussions about mental health, remove barriers to seeking help, and foster a supportive atmosphere around caring for each other in the community, particularly regarding mental health awareness.
For those seeking to play a larger and more active role in the MWNA cause, the organization holds community meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at Keller Williams Realty Consultants located at 3301 N. University Drive.
Tickets for the Let’s Get Nuts Comedy Spectacular can be purchased online here.
