New Springs Church will open its doors to the community on Thursday, November 14, for a special job fair.
The event, held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., is part of a national initiative led by the nonprofit organization Better Together, which aims to provide job seekers with a more relational and supportive job search experience.
Open to anyone in the community, the job fair will connect attendees with local businesses that are hiring, as well as community resources and volunteers offering personalized job coaching.
Employers from a range of industries will be present, including those open to hiring individuals with prior convictions or other barriers to employment, ensuring a diverse set of opportunities for job seekers.
Several prominent employers will attend, including Saints Sports Ministry, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Pollo Tropical, First Citizens Bank, and Waffle House.
In addition to meeting potential employers, job seekers will have access to valuable resources designed to enhance their search. RYVAN Recruiting will provide resume-building assistance, while Sea Olive Creative Studios will offer free professional headshots, helping attendees make a strong impression.
