A former NFL wide receiver is bringing his own youth-focused Chamber Football Academy to the City of Coral Springs.
Through his CATCH84 Foundation (Children Achieving Through Community Help), former NFL player, Chris Chambers, is offering young and upcoming athletes multiple options for football development training.
Chambers is committed to partnering with the city for local football development and performance training for underserved communities.
He said that using his own personal experience through the Chamber Football Academy is a great resource for Coral Springs youth.
“Far too many times, talented young athletes are overlooked and undervalued because they don’t have access to the best resources providing performance training and quality exposure,” he said.
Chambers played ten seasons in the NFL. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft, and also played for the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chamber Football Academy will bring elite-level football development to the city, including sponsored football events from the NFL foundation for the city’s middle school and high school athletes to assist in the evaluation process and college recruitment.
The training programs offer multiple options catered to the needs of different age groups.
Football Academy Camp Schedule (Ages 10 to 15)

“Coral Springs does not offer this kind of program, even though there is a wealth of young athletic talent,” said Chambers. “With the right mentorship to build a child’s foundation with high-quality athletic development, these kids will have greater opportunities for success.”
