A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Coral Springs Sunday night, police said.
The person was hit by a black sedan as the car traveled south on Coral Ridge Drive just south of Sample Road around 9 p.m., according to Coral Springs Police.
The name and gender of the pedestrian were not immediately made public. They died at the scene, police said.
The incident was under investigation by police Tuesday and additional information was not immediately released.
