Jessica and Joel Lerner {Xfinity}
For Jessica and Joel Lerner, staying connected is more than a convenience—it’s essential. After more than 30 years in their Coral Springs home and trying nearly every internet provider available, the couple said they’ve finally found the right fit with Xfinity.
“We’ve really tried them all,” Jessica said. “But we’ve really been loving our new service with Xfinity.”
The Lerners were among the first local families to sign up when Comcast expanded its network to Coral Springs this year, delivering high-speed Xfinity and Comcast Business services to thousands of homes and businesses.
Jessica, a healthcare professional who works from home part of the week, said the reliable connection has been critical.
“She’s constantly on video conferences, speaking with state leaders,” Joel said. “We need a stable connection, and it’s been that.”
Although their daughters now live apart—one in college and the other working as a nurse in Nashville—the family remains tightly connected through technology.
“We’re on FaceTime probably five times a day,” Jessica said. “We love keeping in touch with them that way.”
Streaming services are also part of their daily routine.
“I stream music, and we have all the video streaming services,” Joel said. “Our connection is always phenomenal, and the speeds are great.”
As a sports fan, Joel appreciates the variety and quality of Xfinity TV.
“I really like the diversity of programming, the menu is easy to use and the sound quality is terrific,” he said. “For me, picture quality is the most important thing, and Xfinity’s is the best I’ve seen.”
The couple also took advantage of Xfinity’s 5-Year Price Guarantee. For $65 a month, they receive unlimited data and Comcast’s premium Gateway device.
“The fact that you locked me into a five-year plan for $65 with unlimited data? I love that,” Joel said.
Comcast’s new all-fiber network has impressed the Lerners with its performance.
“We were kind of spoiled with fiber already, but the service with Xfinity is equally as good, maybe even better because it’s a brand-new buildout,” Joel said. “I’m very, very happy with it.”
He also praised the Xfinity app’s notifications about Wi-Fi hotspots and service updates.
“What I really love is the communication through the app — Xfinity notifies me when I’m near a hotspot or if the service is down and when it’ll be back up,” he said.
For Joel, Xfinity also carries sentimental value. His late mother, who lived in Boynton Beach, was a longtime Xfinity customer.
“My mother, who passed away two years ago, always had Xfinity in Boynton Beach. I love gadgets and stuff like that — so I used to play with the Xfinity TV at her house all the time. It was stable, easy to use, and smooth,” Joel said. “If my mom, who was in her 80s, had no issue with it, that speaks volumes about the service. I’m so glad to be part of the Xfinity family.”
With improved speeds, dependable service, and a connection to family both near and far, the Lerners say they’re happy to have made the switch.
