This week, the Humane Society of Broward County has some wonderful pets to choose from. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, treatment for flea and ticks, and much more.
Sasha
Gorgeous two-year-old Sasha (ID 653868) would love to be part of your family. With her mesmerizing green eyes, this beauty is very sweet and loves to be petted.
Be sure to give her time to acclimate to her new home, and in no time, she will be cuddling on the couch with you. While they don’t know about her past, they know this sweetheart is a fantastic feline and will be your new best friend.
Selena
There are always wonderful dogs at the Humane Society of Broward County, and one gal that seems to be getting overlooked is three-year-old Selena (ID A652075).
Selena is one of the most well-behaved and well-mannered dogs currently at the shelter. Selena is easy-going, calm, and her mere presence will make you feel relaxed.
She is potty-trained, loves her toys, and enjoys being pet. Selena is heartworm positive, so her new family must be willing to bring her back as an out-patient for treatment.
The Humane Society covers the cost of this treatment. Heartworm is not contagious to other dogs or people and is spread through the bite of an infected mosquito. It is so important to keep your dog, no matter what size it is, on heartworm preventative.
Selena is a Dolly’s Dream Dog, so her adoption fee is underwritten, and she gets to go home with supplies she needs to settle in.
