Pink Pony Tail Salon celebrates 40 years in Coral Springs with a special event honoring clients, stylists, and the community that supported its success.
A fixture in the community since 1985, Pink Pony Tail is set to celebrate its anniversary, a reminder that the salon is one of the longest-standing businesses in Broward County. To celebrate the milestone, Pink Pony Tail Salon has invited longtime clients to a special anniversary event on December 7 featuring gift bags, gift baskets, product promotions, food, refreshments, and music.
The salon was originally founded by Susan Tasharofi and her daughter Roya Saramout, and today it is run by sisters Simi and Roya, who continue the family’s long-standing legacy.
As Coral Springs, then a newly developing city, grew and neighborhoods filled with new residents, so did the demand for modern, high-quality salon services.
“Our mother, Susan, brought her expertise and training from England, and together we saw a growing need for a stylish salon in Coral Springs,” Roya tells Coral Springs Talk.
Roya also shared the salon’s history as she reflected on the anniversary.
“As the city flourished, so did the salon. Many of our clients have been with us for nearly 40 years, and that trust means everything to us.”
Roya added that being recognized locally for the milestone is meaningful to the family, and that the salon is very excited to be recognized in the city they have called home for 40-plus years.
Pink Pony Tail Salon tells Coral Springs Talk their longevity is rooted in a commitment to both clients and staff. They say the salon invests heavily in training, continuing education, and opportunities for stylists to learn from world-renowned professionals. That dedication, Roya noted, has created a family-like culture that keeps both employees and clients returning year after year.
“Our commitment to excellence extends beyond just our clients. We invest in our talented stylists from the very beginning,” she said. “This dedication ensures that we stay ahead of the latest trends and continue to offer the best to our clients.”
The owners say the celebration is just as much about honoring the community as it is about marking four decades in business.
