Lovers of orchids and tropical plants will have the chance to indulge their passion at the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital's Orchid & Plant Festival.
Held on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 3000 Sportsplex Drive in Coral Springs, the annual event celebrates the beauty and allure of the orchid, a flower treasured for centuries as a symbol of love.
This year, attendees can expect a wide selection of orchids and other tropical plants and expert insights on caring for these delicate beauties.
Visitors can enjoy special discounts by purchasing tickets in advance. Early bird tickets are available for $6, while tickets at the gate are priced at $8.
Two-day passes are available for $10, allowing attendees to soak up the festival atmosphere all weekend. Children aged five and under are free. Please note that no pets are allowed at the event.
All proceeds from the festival will support the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital, which provides critical environmental education programs focusing on the unique ecosystems of South Florida, especially the Everglades.
Additionally, the hospital cares for over 1,400 injured and orphaned native wildlife each year at no charge to the public.
Tickets can be purchased online, and email confirmation is required at the entrance. Attendees are encouraged to check their spam folders for ticket confirmations.
