
Sawgrass Nature Center {City of Coral Springs}

The Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital has announced it is now accepting applications for multiple volunteer positions.
It invites individuals 13 years and older to join its volunteer team, which is aimed at those passionate about wildlife, the outdoors, and community engagement.
Various volunteer roles are available, including:
- Counselor in Training (CIT): CITs benefit from a discounted weekly camp fee of $100 while supporting camp counselors and the Camp Director with various activities and overseeing campers, accruing volunteer hours in the process.
- Camp Counselor: Support the Camp Director in leading activities and overseeing campers while accumulating volunteer hours.
- Summer Docent: These volunteers will participate in a work readiness program split into two four-week sessions. Participants will enhance their leadership and public speaking abilities by conducting nature center tours and presenting educational activities to guests.
- Summer Intern: A volunteer opening for college students involving programming, camp support, and administrative tasks.
- Green Team: A family-friendly gardening program for all ages on select Saturdays.
