Sawgrass Springs Middle School to Host “Swamp Safari…Your Journey To Becoming A Gator”

Sawgrass Springs Middle School has announced its annual event, Swamp Safari...Your Journey To Becoming A Gator, on Tuesday, February 25 at 6:00 p.m.
This special event is an opportunity for all prospective students interested in attending Sawgrass Springs for the 2025-2026 school year to explore the exciting offerings at the school.
Principal Melinda Wessinger encourages families to attend and experience the unique aspects of Sawgrass Springs.
"This is your chance to experience what it means to be a part of Gator Nation, our Environmental Science Innovative Program will be on full display as well as our clubs, electives and athletic teams," says Wessinger.
The event will feature a comprehensive look at the school’s Environmental Science Innovative Program, where students engage with the natural world in dynamic, hands-on ways. Visitors will also get a glimpse of the many clubs, electives, and athletic teams that make Sawgrass Springs a well-rounded and exciting place to learn.
Sawgrass Springs Middle School, known for its unique location "On the Edge of the Everglades, the Center of our Environment," offers a rich, environmental curriculum that is deeply integrated into the academic experience.
