Be prepared for a chance of snow when downtown Coral Springs is transformed into a winter wonderland.
The Great Lawn of City Hall (9500 W Sample Rd) will morph into an immersive winter wonderland on Saturday, December 3, for the city’s annual Downtown in December event from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the signature tree lighting set to illuminate the night at 6:15 p.m.
Holiday-themed activities will include trackless train rides, a dance party featuring seasonal songs, an inflatable winter playland, festive photo ops, and lawn games such as “reindeer ring toss.”
In addition, the event will feature free cookies, appearances from special guests – including Santa Claus, and holiday arts and crafts.
Weather alert: Snow flurries on the City Hall Lawn are expected every 20 minutes on the hour!
Food and drink will be available for purchase from on-site food trucks, beverage vendors, and dessert trucks. Guests may bring new and unwrapped toys for the Coral Springs Police Department Toy Drive. Toys will be given to underserved families in our community.
