Coral Springs Middle School has announced plans to welcome incoming sixth-graders with a fun-filled orientation event.
The 6th-Grade Stallion Stampede Orientation takes place at Coral Springs Middle School, at Wiles Road, on Friday, August 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event will feature entertainment and information for incoming 6th-grade students seeking to make a smooth transition into a new school year.
Organized by the school’s faculty and staff, the Stallion Stampede features an array of activities, including a scavenger hunt, science experiments, creative art projects, and a school tour.
Students will also receive valuable tips on staying organized and making the most of their middle school experience.
To alleviate those first-day butterflies, incoming Stallions will have an opportunity to meet new friends and build connections before the official beginning of the school year.
The orientation registration fee is $15 and includes a commemorative Stallion t-shirt and a pizza lunch.
It’s important to note that the Stallion Stampede is a drop-off event for students only to foster an atmosphere that works as a soft opening before the first day of school.
Parents interested in registering their child for the 6th Grade Stallion Stampede may visit the official Coral Springs Middle School website to complete the necessary forms and pay the $15 fee.
