
The State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine Presents “Swan Lake.”

Though not an instant hit on its 1877 premiere, the enthralling story of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake with its timeless score, and unforgettable choreography grew in popularity over time, making it the most in-demand ballet globally.
Now for the first time, the Ukrainian State Theatre heads to the US with their breathtaking production, replete with Petipa and Ivanov’s original steps, glittering tutus, and lavish sets, ready to draw you into the fantasy all over again.
With over 55 dancers, The State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine has drawn critical acclaim in performances throughout Europe, India, and Africa.
The terrible spell of the magician Rothbart turns the beautiful Odette and her friends into swans, and only at night do they turn into human form. Only boundless and sincere love can break this spell.
Prince Siegfried celebrates his coming of age in the garden of the castle. Guests, charming ladies-in-waiting, and Prince Benno’s best friend are having fun, and the Jolly Jester entertains everyone with dances.
The libretto is based on the script by Vladimir Begichev and Vasiliy Geltser.
Tickets are on sale for the performance of Swan Lake Sunday, Jan 1, 2023, at 6:00 p.m; at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. Prices from $50.29 – $82.39.
