{The Fish Joint}
By Ryan Yousefi
A family-owned Coconut Creek seafood restaurant has opened its doors to a second location in Coral Springs.
The Fish Joint, located at 5677 Coral Ridge Drive in the real estate formally occupied by Falafel Bistro and Wine Bar, held a grand opening for its second fast-casual restaurant this past week. The cozy fast-casual location offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
Positioned as an affordably-priced alternative to higher-end seafood sitdown options, The Fish Joint claims its food will hook patrons on the first bite thanks to its use of only fresh ingredients cooked to order. According to the restaurant, the fish served also comes from local suppliers, a factor contributing to the product’s guaranteed freshness.
The Fish Joint menu features everything from seafood classics, such as shrimp ceviche, steamed clams, fish n’ chips, and fried seafood platters, to a surprisingly vast offering of taco options that include; fried cod, Mahi, seared tuna, grilled shrimp, and buffalo shrimp.
The menu also features soups, sandwiches, salads, and regular seafood starters that offer a little something for everyone, including burgers and kid’s options such as fish fingers, chicken fingers, and mac & cheese.
