Ziva and Mack {Broward County Animal Care}
Two very different, but equally deserving pets are waiting for their second chance at a forever home at Broward County Animal Care.
Meet Ziva (A1784820)
Ziva, a 10-year-old domestic shorthair, is a calm and affectionate companion ready to settle into a quiet home where she can be the center of attention.
Weighing 12 pounds, Ziva was surrendered due to a change in her owner’s living situation. She previously shared space with other pets but would do best in a home where she can enjoy her own space and soak up all the love.
Already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, Ziva is ready to go home today. Because she has been declawed, she will need a softer type of litter to stay comfortable. With her gentle personality and striking looks, Ziva is the perfect match for someone seeking a relaxed, loyal feline companion.
Meet Mack (A2473771)
Mack, a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, brings energy, playfulness, and plenty of personality.
Weighing 69 pounds, Mack was found as a stray in Pembroke Pines and, despite wearing a personalized collar, was never reclaimed. Now, he’s looking ahead to a fresh start with a new family.
Mack loves snacks, thrives on activity, and enjoys playing fetch, making him a great fit for an active household. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped — fully ready to join a loving home where he can burn off energy and share his affectionate nature.
Both pets are available for adoption at Broward County Animal Care, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort Lauderdale. The shelter is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All adopted pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adopters only pay $25 for the Broward County registration tag.
