The Sea Chanters, the official chorus of the United States Navy Band from Washington, D.C., will present a free concert at the Center for the Arts in Coral Springs on March 2 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is co-sponsored by the City of Coral Springs and Friends of Music, Inc.
The 20-voice chorus, accompanied by three-piece rhythm section, will perform a variety of styles ranging from patriotic selections to Broadway showstoppers.
The concert is free to Coral Springs residents, but tickets are required for admission. Four tickets will be offered per family. Only children above the age of 10 will be permitted. Tickets will be available to residents (I.D. required) starting February 2 until February 21st. On February 23, if tickets are still available, they will be offered to non-residents. Tickets are available for pick-up at the Center for the Arts Box Office, City Hall and City Hall in the Mall.
In exchange for tickets, residents are encouraged to donate canned food items in advance or on the day of the concert to replenish our food banks in the community. For more information, visit www.CoralSprings.org/SeaChanters or call 954-344-5999 or 954-344-1005.
