There wasn’t associate or Walmart greeter in sight when one brazen man took off with 26 Ipad Minis at a Walmart Supercenter store on January 18.
Coral Springs Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who walked into a local Walmart, smashed the display case and walked out of the store with 26 Ipad Minis – all without encountering a single person in the vicinity.
Early in the morning on January 18, a black male suspect walked into the Walmart Supercenter, located at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs, Florida. Store surveillance video shows the suspect walk straight to the Electronics Department of the store, go behind the counter and smash the glass where the Ipads are stored. The suspect then loads 26 Ipad Minis into a large blue bag and walks directly out the front doors of the store with over $8,400 in Ipads. The suspect is then seen fleeing in a silver Mercedes driven by another unknown suspect.
Coral Springs Police are asking if anyone can identify the suspect in the video, or if they have information on this case to please contact Detective Anthony Cassini at (954) 346-1251.
