Coral Springs High School Boys Volleyball Knocks Off Rival; Reaches Regional Semifinals

After a heartbreaking five-set loss in the District Championship, the Coral Springs High School boys' volleyball team made a run to the Regional Semifinals.
CSHS started by beating Coral Springs Charter in five sets in the opening round. The Colts won 25-23, 26-24, 17-25, 20-25, and 16-14 to improve to 17-8 this year.
Joel Jobi led the way with 24 kills, while Quinten Ehrenberg and Tyler Aiello combined for 25. Sainteled finished with 11 blocks, and Jayden Thomas had 16 digs. John Decelstino had 60 assists to knock out the Panthers.
CSC finished the season 14-7 and won a District Championship after beating Marjory Stoneman Douglas in five sets. Five players finished with at least ten kills against CSHS, led by Jordan Diaz with 15. Murillo Boeta and Jalen McGregor combined for 14 blocks, with Aadhith Arancherry and Aakash Arancherry recording 46 digs.
They will have seniors Caua Pinto, Aadhith Arancherry, Ty Mainardi, Sergio Mejia Monnar, John Clarke Wong, James Camacho, and McGregor all graduate.
The Colts then went on to face Cardinal Gibbons High School but lost 14-25, 17-25, 25-16 to finish the season 17-9. Jobi led CSHS again in kills with five. At the same time, M Daly had four blocks, and Decelstino recorded 16 assists in his final match with the Colts along with seniors Mark Saintelus, Quinton Ehrenberg, Tyler Aiello, Malachi Daly, and Connor Moore.
J.P. Taravella finished the season 6-7 and lost to Marjory Stoneman Douglas in their first playoff game 22-25, 21-15, 25-21, 15-25. Their seniors are Mark Ferreira, Anthony De Gouveia, and Fernando Martinez Cordoba.
While Coral Glades lost in Districts against Coral Springs Charter and had only two wins, however, they did not have any seniors on their team.
